## Summer: long light
From June to August the sun barely sets. Evening cruises get golden light until close to midnight, and the water is warm enough for a swim stop.
## Early autumn: the quiet favourite
September and early October bring calm water, warm colours on the islands and far fewer boats. Our own crew's favourite time to be out.
## Winter: heated saloon, empty water
The saloon is heated, the coffee is hot, and Stockholm looks entirely different under low winter light. Dress in layers and bring a hat.
## Spring: the islands wake up
April and May are unpredictable and beautiful. Bare rock turns green within weeks and the birdlife returns in numbers.
